day 23: ruined sleep schedule
today was lackluster.
yesterday i stayed up til 6:00 talking to jeremy and ethan just catching up.
i woke up at 1:00pm, changed clothes, and walked over to the dentist for my 2:00 appointment. i needed to get a filling for one last tooth, which was not too bad so they opted for a tooth colored filling. a tooth colored filling is a resin based material used on light cavities.
they numbed me up, did the operation, and i left with a filled tooth and $15 less dollars. not a bad exchange if i do say so myself.
after getting back home, i relaxed on my bed, thought of video ideas, and watched tik tok. i think i want to do a series titled "living on $20 a day in NYC"
it turned 5:30 and i realized I hadn't eaten anything, so i made myself some potatoes, eggs, and avocado and chowed down. my mouth was still numb but having warm food in my mouth help regain feeling, but also gave me a headache.
my right temple was pounding so I decided to nap it out. i woke up like rn at 9:30 and realized what I have done. I've only been awake today for like 5 hours. I've doomed my sleep schedule!
i feel a bit dazed, so my plan of attack for the night is:
- take a shower since i feel sweaty from walking and my nap
- read a physical book since my head feels exhausted from screen light
- probably make dinner since i have only eaten one meal today
overall very lackluster day, but all good. one step at a time.
writing this update: i showered and ate sundubu and feel revitalized.
i also updated the blog to add a photos page and the cover photo! i like how things are coming along slowly, it's very fun :)
