41 & 42: putting the pieces together

i also did not have wifi for these two days, so i'm writing this from day 43.

the last two days haven't been hugely instrumental or groundbreaking in my new york city experience, but foundational. these past two days, anderson and i have been picking up small pieces for the apartment that touch the place up. we both picked up desks from facebook marketplace, groceries, and just other random items to spruce up the place.

i picked up my skateboard that mom shipped over here, thanks mom and dad! as i expected, skating in the city is very fun and efficient. a great add to the place.

we also went out saturday night with anderson's coworker and a bunch of his college friends to a bar called the grayson. it was alright, music was ehh since it mostly played house remixes of throwback pop songs.

the room is also coming along. still need to find the studs in the walls to hang my peg board and get prints of paintings that i want on the walls. i also want to get a loveseat to put on the exposed brick wall and more ambient lights. lots of small things to keep doing!
