39: beach day

im going to keep this post short because i am quite tired

this morning i woke up in the new apartment and listened to songs that reminded me of home, so i started missing home. this prompted me to go on an adventure: to rockaway beach. i wouldn't even think there would be a beach an hour from nyc but there is. thanks tik tok

i hopped on the train and made my way to rockaway. it was very nice! i expected it to be kind of janky but the sand was nice, there were people out and about, and the water was like california beach water. i bought a beach towel for $15 and laid out, listened to music, took pictures, and walked the beach until i got hot and tired.

after about two hours, i had enough beach in me and went back home to quite a lot of amazon packages. i unpacked all the items and organized them into our cabinets and our apartment is set to go! it's truly comfortable and livable which is great!

i got pizza from rubirosa for lunch and met a guy from las vegas with great pants after complimenting them who said he would send me more pics of the pants. i then got my pizza and it was alright, would rather have prince street pizza.

i then cleaned out the boxes and trash since our garbage bags got delivered and swiffered the floor. at this point i was mad sticky so i showered, laid out my new rug, and am ready for bed. also william called and had a lovely chat with him.
