33: another successful night out
the day began with filming.
i woke up and started recording for a youtube video. i did my normal routine and got groceries for breakfast. after taking a handful of shots, i realized I didn't find it fun or interesting.
after eating breakfast and lunch, i went back to chilling and time past until anderson hit me up about going to a free comedy show. obviously, i obliged. who doesn't like free laughs?
we went over to the comedy stage? whatever it's called and the guy ushered my to sit on stage. i thought he was joking but there were 3 other people sitting there, so i just did. anderson came separately so i was sitting alone and the show started. the lights were blaring and half the comedians talked about us being on stage and how weird it was.
i wasn't expecting much of a free comedy show, but all the acts were very good and funny! my jaw was hurting from smiling so much. the show was a two drink minimum and boy did those drinks smack. anderson finally sat down on stage next to me and we finished the show.
after the show, we hit a couple different bars in manhattan that were all successful! the first bar had a lot of space and played throwback pop songs turned edm, the second was a chill conversation, and the last was crowded but played the best music by far. we danced the night away and made lots of friends all over the bars. it was a great night and gave me more hope for manhattan bars!
